If the manufacturer of this product’s plan was to make a humidifier that has all the bells and whistle, they may have done it. It pretty much has all the features you’d ever need for a humidifier. At its core, yes it is just a humidifier, but it is also a humidifier that tells you the humidity, connects to wifi (optional), connects to a phone app (optional), can be controlled by Alexa/Google (optional), and has an oil diffuser. All that, and way too many parts to clean.
There’s only one thing I really didn’t like about this humidifier, which is what I dislike about all other humidifiers, and that is the cleaning part of it. While most basic humidifiers only have 1 or 2 things to clean, somehow this humidifier has like 5 different parts that the cleaning instruction says I should clean, and that makes it the worst of all humidifiers.
So what makes it special to keep the 5 star rating? All the bells and whistles that are mostly superfluous of course. I’d say the nicest thing is that it has its own humidity sensor, which is of course needed for the Auto mode, so a humidity % can be set and it’ll turn on and off accordingly to hit the humidity that is set. It’s also nice to be able to load the app and see the current humidity of the room, which is the feature I liked the most. It also keeps a running record every 15 minutes. In the app, you can see a humidity graph of the last day or the last 30 days. Speaking of the app, the app (Android in my case) for this device is very well done. The UI is clean and easy to understand. The pairing to the device was very smooth process. Any changes made via the app were pretty much instantly sent to the device.
The humidifier device itself looks sleek and fits into any room without being an eyesore. The touch controls on the front are responsive. The lighting and led are subtle, which can also be turned off in the app. And despite all the pieces that need to be cleaned, it’s nice that they did break them out into separate components that can be more easily washed. The water tank holds a good amount of water and includes a handle for easy transport. My package also included a water descaling filter, which pops in place of the smaller debris filter. Without the descaling filter, more water can be actually added to the tank.
I didn’t connect it to alexa/google, but doing so gives you the basic functions available via the app. It would have been nice if there was a way to also ask alexa/Google what the humidity was, but that doesn’t look like an available command from the instruction list.
There is also a oil diffuser compartment if you wanted to add a scent, but I didn’t use this. The manual did say that the scent will still be very faint and not to be considered a proper oil diffuser.
All in all, fancy humidifier.
