I had purchased a different stand for my husband for Christmas from another well-known manufacturer. It was nice, but only the watch charger was magnetic – he had to plug the phone into the stand by the lightning port, which was difficult to do in the dark and he was worried about wearing out or damaging the port. So he’d often have to turn the nightstand light on when I was trying to sleep. And the other stand probably weighed 2 lbs and didn’t fold up. And I think it was $79.

So for his birthday I got him this stand – what an improvement! Both the watch charger and phone are magnetic. We both absolutely love it!
