Our boy is a rescue & had never experienced the things that most get to… We knew for sure he doesn’t like being IN the ocean or baths but we got him in the boat for the 1st time AND he even swam in the lake with his vest on without freaking out!
The Good:
Fits Perfect! It’s an XL & he weighs 55-60 lbs (Pitbull)
The Color! Matches Daddy’s kayak & it’s camo (daddy is a Veteran)
Easy to use (I think he felt safe in it also because of how it hugs him; HIGH Anxiety)
Ya’ll, it has a handle to help hold him up or when helping him in & out of the boat!
The Bad:
The front also acts as as a float, but I wish it had more floaty material across his chest because of the fact that he’s a beginner (at age 5) I don’t think it keeps his head up high enough out of the water… if that makes sense…
All in all we love it & would recommend this life vest…
