So I’m going to start off with what you came here for. I’d 10 outta 10, would definitely recommend.
Here’s my validation story for the pure comfort of this memory foam pad. I bought this for my kids plain twin size mattress on the top bunk. She complained about sleeping less because of how awful the bed was. I decided to try this before I went out and replaced the whole mattress. Well, it worked, too well.
I have only had this in my possession for less than 24 hrs.
When it arrived I removed the cover and washed it per instructions. Simple to do. I sprayed down the foam with hydrogen just because it makes my mind say its clean now. After the cover dried I put it back on the foam. Also, super simple. I put it on the bed and put the sheets, blankets and comforter on.
I must say that it worked like a charm because my kid fell asleep fast and we had no interruptions through the night.
BUT… a mild warning.
When I woke the next morning my children were already up and ready for school which is not typical in our household. I was elated and knew, as I poured a cup of coffee, that I would in fact be buying one of these for the other kids beds.
As I walked through their rooms to start my morning routine there had seem to be an odor, kind of like a litter box smell. Not sure what it was at first, figured I needed to clean out the cats box. But it began to gain way and float through the house. I finally asked my youngest if he could smell it and he gleefully told me that the 8 yr old had pooped the bed.
Now this is a first for me. I have 5 kids and have dealt with many “accidents” from them. When I asked my child what happened they claimed that their bed was just too comfortable to get out of. Im sorry but WHAT 😲 I stood in front of this child with my mouth wide open. No words to mutter. Turned on my heels this very morning, less then 24hrs of owning this thing, to clean up filth, due to comfortability.
Do with my story as you may. But I’ll say it again. 10 outta 10 do recommend.
