This little gadget works great! As soon as you take it out of the box you peel off the sticker on the power button, remove the clear cap from the blades, and go! I had pilling on my linen couch and this took it off quickly and very easily. You don’t have to use any pressure, just use a circular motion and voila! Fits perfectly in your hand. To remove the lint catcher, just press the tiny button located underneath the catcher and it pops off for emptying
