The scale itself works perfectly. It connects to bluetooth only when you have the app open on the phone and “looking” for the scale. So, you don’t have to worry about it recording every single weight that you check throughout the day or picking up someone else’s weight in your app. For the price, this scale is high functioning, rich with features, and a great deal. I personally don’t know why you would want to spend 3X more to have the WIFI capabilities.
