I previously had a stainless fountain that was ok and easy to clean but due to the shape it tended to slosh water out when carrying. I got so tired of the messes I started looking for an alternative option. This fountain is the total opposite. Still every easy to clean due to being stainless but the overall design is so much better. Easier to carry without making a mess and it holds a whole lot of water-more than expected. Much more than the previous fountain. And my kitties love the spout design. That alone made it worth the purchase. If you have pets intrigued by faucets, they’ll thoroughly enjoy this fountain. The pump runs very quiet also. I’ve had this one for about 4 months now, and would HIGHLY recommend.
