I read a lot of reviews on different fountains before purchasing this one. My girlfriend has had hers for 8-9 years so I went on her advice and opinion plus the reviews I read. I had no problem dissembling it and rinsing with warm water as instructed. Resembling, I also had no problem. Followed instructions. Took about 15 minutes for all including adding water and turning on. I do agree with some reviewers that the reservoir should be more flat so it can stand up on its own when filling up with water. It is very quiet and the water flow can easily be adjusted. Now the cats , well 2 out of 3 like it. They lap out of the fountain and also the bowl area. My other cat still drinks out of the dog’s bowl. At least their not on my kitchen sink anymore. I also can see that cleaning it won’t be a problem either. Like cleaning a fish tank once a month. I would definitely recommend this.
