I bought this for my daughter when she hurt her back and the dr told her to sleep on her side only. This helped relieve some of the pain that she had while sleeping and allowed her to be able to sleep. She was able to sleep better and would be able to wake up with less pain in the morning. Even now after she has recovered from her injury she still sleeps with it because it is so comfortable.
