So when the pandemic really set in, around March of 2020, these were impossible to find. The replacement brands were the only game in town. The various replacement brands ranged from almost water like in quality, to some unscrupulous products made with dangerous ingredients. I honestly couldn’t wait to get back to Purell. Clearly the best brand, and I ultimately found some close copies, but that was the key. They all tried to be Purell, and some came closer than others, but nothing I tried had the consistency of the real product. You would never realize how much you missed the real product, until you couldn’t get it. Still the best, and some come close, but nothing completely compares to the real product.
