How can I reduce diaper waste?

  • 0

My family and I are very eco-conscious and we try to be green where it’s possible.

Every day for the last 2 years my daughter has gone through diaper after diaper. We don’t even know how many boxes of diapers we’ve gone through.

With my son, I wanted to at least curb some of that waste and try cloth diapering.

I didn’t originally like the idea of cleaning diapers and washing them. Then my toddler went through potty training and I realized there’s not much difference in cleaning underwear after an accident, so I thought we might as well give it a try.

I found this pack of 6 diapers with 6 inserts and 4 charcoal inserts. I did some research to see if it was worth the investment. The inserts are pretty absorbent, but the charcoal inserts had better reviews, so I ordered these.

Now my son can crawl around in the cutest diapers, I can wash and repeat, and we worry less about the waste we contribute to the world.

We want to keep the earth as green as possible for as long as possible, so our little ones still have this earth to love.
