We used this machine strictly for strike recovery of a paralyzed arm and leg. They say that repetition is key to neuroplasticity and reconnecting the brain to the limb. That said, we are hard on the machine as it’s used for both arm cycling and leg cycling. We change out the paddles daily as it comes with foot peddles and arm peddles. So it wasn’t surprising when after a year the peddler arm stripped and we could no longer use the peddle on one side. I made sure I had done the warranty part way back when it first came (DO THE WARRANTY) and contacted the company to ask if they could send a replacement arm. They actually offered to replace the entire unit! Lifetime warranty!

While my husband’s arm and leg are still considered paralytic, he has movement in both and is building strength constantly. I would purchase again in a heartbeat because of the benefits of the motion and the integrity of the company. They are awesome!
