I’ve been using Waterpiks for nasal irrigation and water flossing for at least 20 years. This new design is BY FAR the best. I’ll compare this new one to the older one I retired (3 years and still working). I’ve used each of them 5 times a day; 3 sinus flushes and 2 teeth cleanings. I just had sinus surgery and wanted a new one. The improvements for this one include (1) QUIET. It is much quieter. Like about 40% 2) It has a knob on the front to adjust water pressure. My other one had an inset knob that took two hands to adjust 3) Push button on/ off switch. It must be an electronic switch because it’s easy to use with little pressure. My older on has a manual toggle switch. 4) BIGGIE: My new one is self-priming. I just insert the water container and it starts spraying when I turn it on. On my older unit I had to push the water container down into the base and wait until I saw bubbles and then eventually is started spraying. (5) Build in lid. I never used the lid on my old one. It sat open all the time. The new one has a nice hinged lid that’s easy to use and keeps everything out.
I am more than impressed how WaterPik made so many improvement.
