I find them useful for outdoor activities near the home. For instance, I have a flock of chickens. I try to let them out in the yard as often as possible, but need to watch them closely to protect them from coyotes and hawks. My frames allow me to interact with my wife by phone or listen to a podcast while also being able to hear, eg., my chickens’ warning cry when they see a threat. Very useful!
