My dentist requested that I get this electric toothbrush. I have bad gums and he said that I needed this to get a deep clean or they will just continue to get worse. I just had to get a deep cleaning and some bone grafts. It took a few weeks to get used to the pressure even on the lowest setting. It was intense for me but my gums are really sensitive. I kept up with it and now I am really used to it and able to tolerate it. I have noticed a difference between this and a manual toothbrush. I can feel how much cleaner my gums and teeth feel. Worth the money!
