This fire pit was a game changer for camping! It’s one of the biggest propane fire pits I could find, which was perfect for our group of eight camping outdoors in a site that did not allow for woodburning fires. Temperatures dropped into the 30s, and we were very comfortable. It was really nice to sit and enjoy the heat, without having to tend the fire or have smoke in your face/smelling up your clothes and hair. A single propane tank gave us about 8 hours of burn time on the high setting (2 nights, plus a morning). I may even consider using this pit for all future camping! With a small grate to go over top, would be perfect for cooking.
