I purchased this in Oct 2023 in preparation for winter in Texas, but I ended up using it during the middle of Nov in Missouri, while staying in a canvas tent. In these most challenging of circumstances it did fine, and I found some very interesting habits of this device. First it kept the tent warm enough that things didn’t freeze at night, and was tolerable to sleep in. Ideally there would have been a propane heater running instead, but I had this, and was on a budget at the time. While there I found that if it was off for too long it would self shut off, which is a problem if you are needing things to not freeze during the cold nights. That was really the only negative thing about it that I had that year. Once I got it into my RV (25′ travel trailer) that I am staying in, it worked great for me back in Texas, single digit weather and ice storm that we got for a week. I really like how it has a thermostat on it and you can control it to a decent temperature. The next con comes from this summer, I ended up using as a small tower fan near my bed to move a little air around, but in this situation it has a 24 hour timer to it. that for me is a huge con, even though I know its purpose is a heater. Long story short, as a small heater it’s great, as a tower fan it’s functional. I recommend this as a good heater that looks good, does a good job heating up, and doesn’t use a ton of energy to heat up a space.
