I purchased this trap to help relocate a colony of rats that has been lingering around my chicken coop. I was having great difficulty with my larger standard sized humane rat trap as it was great for the massive chucky adults but the bar spacing was letting the adolecent and baby rats slip out. This has worked amazingly! I just got this trap today and I have already caught 4 young rats! Worked like a charm! Excellent design and easy to reload. Just be careful when opening the door because your fingers are rather close to a rageful rat!
