I am 5 ft 5 inches. I can’t see over my small scion ia. But putting this bag on was a breeze. Because it’s square and adds weight and dimension to the car it does affect gas mileage, acceleration and braking. It should be expected. I drove from tacoma Washington to Dallas texas with some detours for fun. So probably 2600 miles. I hit speeds of 85. Went through mountains and all the sharp curves. This bag did not leak and I hit heavy rain and snow. The bag did shift a little towards the back of my car, but again I was short couldn’t see for even weight and couldn’t tighten it as much as others. I have had bags leak and rip off my car. This bag was fantastic and can be used again. No rips or anything. Well worth the purchase.
