This is small but does the job. I just got it so I’m hoping it lasts for a long time like my old one. Batteries or comes with a charger so I suppose either or will work. I put batteries in mine to get a quick reading. Lightweight as my old one was a bit heavier. I definitely recommend especially for the price.
