I needed a shade to block the hot summer sun that heats up my bedroom, I had to turn on the light to take this picture it’s dark in there now (suns still beaming). Now I can cut the a/c back. Seemed like a lot of parts to this one, compared to others I’ve bought. Apparently I didn’t order a wide enough shade & couldn’t mount it to the window trim (the trims not flat) so I had to screw it in to the wall just above the window trim. Worked out great I’m happy with it. Much sturdier and easier to open and care for than regular blinds!
