I only used this to fly my cat from LA to DC. The medium met the airplane requirements. I don’t use it for vet visits because she seems cramped. We didn’t medicate her. I usually use Feliway products to calm her down. She is a pretty calm cat and stayed quiet the whole time. I can’t speak about the durability of escape artist pets who claw and chew.
