How can I clean up the air in our basement?

I have 2 dogs that sleep with me in my large bedroom. The air purifier cleans and refreshes the air as advertised. The room smells fresh and has really cut down on the dust and dander. I don’t wake up with a stuffy nose any longer either. Wonderful for my allergies. The machine makes a soothing sound that is not loud. I will be purchasing another one for my kitchen.
