This is by far the BEST CLEANER for a washing machine!!! I have a top loader, and over just a year’s time it has developed algae or slime that would come off on our towels and sheets. This was behind the stainless steel basket so I couldn’t get to it to clean it. I tried everything…bleach, dishwasher tablets, Simple Green…nothing got rid of it. Those cleaners would help but never totally get rid of the algae stuff. So I see this add for Active Washing Machine Cleaner here on Amazon. I bought it, thinking it won’t hurt to try it out. One time…that was it. One time and it totally got rid of all of the mold, algae, gunk, or whatever that stuff was in the machine. I did use two tablets instead of one, but it cleaned my washer drum spectacularly!!! I will continue to use this product as long as they sell it !!!!
