Holds my Kindle perfectly. I had this same holder and it finally lost its ability to hold tablet in position. I have it attached to a padded headboard and change its position, depending on which side I sleep. Sometimes I adjust it a couple of times a night, depending on my position in bed. It is not intended for keyboard use. The only challenge for me was the thickness of my headboard, I had to extend the attachment to its maximum, but it fits well. I don’t like being without it.
