I bought two of these for my cats and love it. we hand fed our cats for a few years before getting these and boy, what a difference. it has freed up so much time – don’t have to be home at certain times through the day. (pretty standard for automatic feeders) but it runs on electricity and leaving, we don’t have to worry about it not working since it has batteries to run off of if the power goes out.

The portion size is great too (for the cats and small dogs). in order to fill the bowl for medium to bigger dogs, you’d have to set it to release food more times at meal times. It’s very easy to use and easy to clean too. Will have to get little fresh pouches to replace every so often to keep the food fresh but nbd.

I wish there was a lock on the food bowl once you attach it to the feeder. If you pick up the feeder, the bowl will remain on the ground. so its a two hand job.

My animals don’t eat their food right away so it would also be nice if the food bowls had covering over it too.

Id consider if you have multiple animals if they eat each others food too. In that case, perhaps a microchip activated opening food bowl would be better.

Overall, I recommend this product! Wish we had gotten one sooner lol
