My dog is very easy, so putting it on is no problem, but I like that it velcros in two places. It seems like it’s warm and it fits well enough. My dog is long and skinny – a size L in the chest but an XL in the neck and length so I got an XL (he’s between 35 and 40 pounds). It is large in the chest/belly area for him, but over all it’s fine for its purpose. I’m impressed with how well made it is
