What’s the best oil diffuser that will work with Alexa?

  • 0

I’ll start by saying the photos posted on Amazon by the company that markets this diffuser almost put me off from buying it. Just this little weak wisp of nebulizer mist was really all it showed. I went with my gut and made the purchase and I must say those pictures do not do this little diffuser justice. With the two speeds the mist that flows from this machine is amazing. Even on the first (lowest) setting, the room I have this diffuser in really adds some humidity to the air. When I add my favorite essential oils to the water, I can sit back and experience a calm and relaxing moment after work or I can relax with some lavender to fall asleep with. I really like cinnamon the best, it’s like sticking my face into a bag of cinnamon bears and breathing in deeply.
So, the water reservoir holds right around twelve ounces (.4 litre) of water and will last about ten (10) hours on the low setting, on the high setting about eight (8) hours. I add about four or five drops of 100% pure essential oil to every four (4) ounces of water. The best success I’ve had is to add about four ounces of water first, then my oil, then the rest of the water to the fill line. This way I know I’m not over filling the water well and also mixing the water and oils for best results.
I love the LED lights, it always starts out with the orange light and runs through the color spectrum, I’ll usually set it on a deep blue at bedtime, other than that I’ll let it run through the colors. I do like that the color of the light is visible in the mist.
I do have the app on my phone and it is very easy to run via Bluetooth. You can actually set a wider variety of colors by using the app than just randomly stopping on a color.
The cord is long enough to place on a four foot book shelf if the outlet is behind or to either side of the case. I recommend cleaning out the water well after every change of a different essential oil or you may come up with a blend you won’t like very much. I’ll just use a dry paper towel and wipe clean.
I would definitely recommen
