How can I better organize my laundry room?

  • 0

We live in an old farm house and have remodeled room by room. Several years ago we had taken out the tub/shower combo and built/tiled a large walk in shower. The angle wall is because that is the underneath side of the stairs to the 2nd floor – originally this section was part of the living room and it was wasted under the stairs storage, We walled it off in the living room and made this space part of the bathroom to accomodate the laundry – otherwise the laundry was in the basement and there is no inside access to the basement. As you can see, the original wood floors were in bad shape and I wanted tile. I’m showing two before and 2 after pics. I put sliders on the bottom of the pedestal and that makes it easy to move if we need to get to the pipes/hoses on the backside. The pedestal itself is not heavy, but I have not had any issues regarding sturdiness. I can fit 2 large laundry baskets under with room enough for the soap. John was great to work with and made sure of measurements before making/shipping and followed through upon delivery to make sure I was satisfied with the pedestal. LOVE IT!
