A friend of mine regifted this to me and I thought it was a gag gift. Is a hotdog a sandwich? I don’t know but now I have a toaster just for hot dogs. That’s RIGHT a Hot Dog Toaster (hide your dachshunds lol).

There are five settings for cooking the wiener I like my wiener cooked with a little crispness on the outside so I cooked them twice on setting number four and put the buns in on the second go and they turn out perfect for me. The buns don’t get brown but turn out warm and just a little crispy. This is a super easy and fast way to make hot dogs. Much better than a microwave or boiling water and faster than air fryer.

The only I’ve experienced issue is size matters. Wieners come in different sizes. If its too long it will not go in all the way leaving an uncooked tip. If its too skinny it slips out of the holder. Too much girth, its a tight fit and even harder to remove. If you find the right size wiener from your favorite brand you’ll be sitting prettier than Goldilocks.

This thing has a great retro vibe while providing hot hot dogs and toasty buns and saves me from grilling hot dogs when it’s -20 outside. Prior to owning this, I never would have bought this on my own. But now that I have it I love it and would gladly replace it if anything happened to it.
